The building won a national award for the quality of the façade pre-cast concrete and a Washington, DC quality award for the interior lobby stone finishes.

Mr. Kennington performed full owner’s representative services during the design, bidding and construction phases of this neo-classical building. The initial design and bid phase services included schematic, design development and construction document review, constructability analysis, construction cost estimates, duration analysis, contracting methodology, contractor selection and award. The construction phase services included schedule reviews, progress meetings, preparation of progress reports, requisition reviews, change order analysis and project close-out procedures.

The building was leased to multiple tenants, and Mr. Kennington performed the landlord’s tenant representative services during the construction of these interior spaces.
